I even looked up spellings for several other names the other day and completely overlooking this rather glaring mistake. As always, you are anxious to correct.Science Teacher Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16579558647324072199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32806324.post-37250371089347814452008-04-09T20:51:00.000-06:002008-04-09T20:51:00.000-06:00hmmm . . . a true fan would know that Edward's las...hmmm . . . a true fan would know that Edward's last name is Ferrars.Tolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01681710147517631370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32806324.post-88225497171180624702008-04-09T12:59:00.000-06:002008-04-09T12:59:00.000-06:00I've never had the pleasure of reading Sense&Sensi...I've never had the pleasure of reading Sense&Sensibility, but I'm thinking that it probably clocks in at a lower word count than this post.Large Margehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09220214046576621379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32806324.post-76787344375563269322008-04-08T23:12:00.000-06:002008-04-08T23:12:00.000-06:00I feel I should preface this comment by stating th...I feel I should preface this comment by stating that I have not read "Sense and Sensibility." I finished watching "S and S" yesterday and I really loved it. I watched all of "The Complete Jane Austen" and I liked all of them, some more than others, but I thought they were all well done. I agree with you on many of the points you have made in your post. The fat red head kid was hilarious, as was Anne Steele. I also thought Willoughby was very well cast. His name evokes an image of a boy who is easily swayed, blown about by his whims. I felt that he really looked the part. When he came back and spoke to Elinore, he looked so broken and I thought for sure he would be penitent. I guess in a way he was, well, as much as he was capable of (which wasn't a lot). I also loved the actress who played Elinore. She conveyed the pain that she had been concealing so well that I could not help but weep with her. I also loved her reaction when Edward proposes to her in the kitchen. She just couldn't contain her happiness. I think every girl has felt the giddy high of hearing words of love that she has wanted to hear, well I would hope that most girls have. I did feel that Marianne was a little to eager a little too wide eyed. Maybe it was just me. Anyway, I liked it overall and I am so excited to read the book now. In all my spare time right?Caitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16912424895580552533noreply@blogger.com
