I don't remember all of it, but I do remember them saying that if you sew it yourself or have it sewn, it has to be by a worthy person. I remember the adamant nature of the talk and the strangeness of the content as being very off-putting. It was very weird. Almost as weird for me as for him, since I have never gone to the temple for more than baptisms.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32806324.post-84272177076282692232012-03-18T19:34:10.040-06:002012-03-18T19:34:10.040-06:00Oh dear.

It's like I was saying to Emily yesterday, when you have a good Sunday with a really good talk, it's so great and powerful and testimony-building, but when things go off the tracks . . . look out. Sounds like you had both ends of the spectrum in the same meeting. :/Desmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04799831623274044784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32806324.post-61485873015242322032012-03-18T15:57:21.627-06:002012-03-18T15:57:21.627-06:00Yeah, our testimony meeting a few weeks ago had so...Yeah, our testimony meeting a few weeks ago had some lovely stuff, including a testimony by a woman who was just baptized last month. And then there was the one guy who went off about research he has done about how we were founded as a Christian nation and that the current 'regime' has been tearing down the Constitution and that it is up to the priesthood to fight for it. I think my jaw hit the floor a little during his testimony. Most of the time I think my ward is pretty cool, and then something like that happens.FoxyJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17950095008611661757noreply@blogger.com
