I am trying to get some feedback on the finished novel from 5-10 people, though I have to say that I doubt any of you are in the true target demographic. I'll give the rundown synopsis, then you can email or leave a message here if you are interested in seeing a copy.
The title is Snow White and Rose Red: A Tale of Two Sisters and is a retelling of a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. The protagonists are in their late teens during most of the story events, and at its heart this story is a coming-of-age young adult novel. The elements of magic are not too heavy, but it is certainly a fantasy novel. I only used the original story as a springboard, trying to turn some of its more traditional (and downright strange) elements on their head.
If you volunteer to read then, as before, I will send you an electronic copy of the manuscript (as a PDF file this time, hopefully) and a few general guidelines for what I am looking for--things I have concerns about. Suggestions are awesome and welcome about any aspect of the novel on which you care to comment.

I'm not a teen anymore, but I do still read a -ton- of YA. I adore fairy tale re-tellings, and I'd be happy to read it if you're interested. I'd be perfectly willing to volunteer! I'm heading to a conference this week, so I'll have some time in the airport and in hotel rooms and such. You can always send it to me. I read the book you sent out last time, and even though I think it took me 100 years to get back to you, that was back when I had a job. Now that I am jobless, reading and commenting would be much simpler. That's up to you, though.
