Does anybody have a good recipe for a cilantro and lime vinaigrette? Just checking.

I wish!

I'm actually posting a comment so that I can subscribe to the follow-up comments. Is that wrong?

I guess I can be a little helpful, though. My guess is you're thinking of the Cafe Rio salad dressing? If that's the case, I have a pretty good substitute for the tomatillo ranch dressing they serve. Although, really, for me, it is all about the vinaigrette.

i'm sorry about the winter complaints in the last post. i'm about to start summer complaints because we've already had to use the a/c and it feels humid already! this is not to rub it in, it's just to say i don't like the humidity. and i don't have any good recipes. but the dressing sounds yummy. i love good salads.

Hey, this is Amy Duffy, Callan's mom. I found your post through Karin's post. I'm glad to see that everything is going well for you guys. I posted something on your videos of the boys and then realized that you probably will never see it, so I wanted to say hi on this one. Your baby is getting so big! Callan misses Ammon. He only seems to remember hanging out with Bryan, Ammon and Lee Audd! Anyway, our Relief Society made Cafe Rio Salads for the birthday party last month, and gave recipes for everything, so if you want me to email you I can. By the way, we have a blog. Loganduffy.blogspot.com. Just let me know on the recipe. My email is accaduffy@hotmail.com.

Sorry to leave this comment randomly, but I didn't see any sort of contact link.

I am responding to a comment you left on my blog in January. As you could probably tell, I have almost left the business of blogging completely due to lack of interest (read lack of comments) to my hard hitting news articles.

I remember all of those things you mentioned, although I wouldn't touch lamingtons with a barge pole. Who thought to ruin a perfectly good dessert by coating it in coconut? Leave it to the Aussies I guess.

Which mission did you serve in? If you read my wife's blog, or my daughter's name you probably extrapolated the mission I served in.

Anyway, sorry I never resonded to your comments all those months ago. Good luck with the recipe.
